Herpes is a viral disease that infects the skin, mucous membranes. and nerves caused by both herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV–1) and herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV–2). It characterized by clusters of blisters. Herpes virus develops by close personal contact. It arises as small sores on the skin, lips, or genitals.

There are many types of herpes but the two common types of herpes are:
Herpes-type 1
Herpes simplex type 1: It is also called human herpesvirus 1 (HHV-1). Small, painful, cold sores and fever blisters that occur on the skin, mouth, nose, and on the lips.
Herpes simplex type 2: Herpes simplex type 2 also called human herpesvirus 1 (HHV-1). This is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by sores in the genital area.
Symptoms of Herpes: The symptoms of genital herpes develops from person to person and develop within 2 to 20 days after contact.
Painful in burnt blisters develop around the infected area.
Pain in the body parts like Penis, Scrotum, Vulva, Thighs, Buttocks.
Headache.
Muscle ache.
Fever.
Vaginal discharge.
Jock itch.
Lower back pain.
