Psoriatic Arthritis is a disease that related to psoriasis. It is an infection of the skin (psoriasis) and joints (arthritis). It usually affecting fingers and toes. About 10 percent of people affected by psoriasis. Dry, red patches, scales which affect elbows, knees, scalp, arms, joints. Psoriatic arthritis only occurs if you have psoriasis, although if you have psoriasis, it doesn't mean that you will easily get psoriatic arthritis.

Asymmetric arthritis:- This is another type of psoriatic arthritis. Asymmetric arthritis means it's symptoms occur on only one side of the body. It can affect any joint, a few fingers, knee, hip, ankle, or wrist, few fingers.
Spondylitis:- Spondylitis is a disease of a backbone joint. You will have face the back pain, stiffness of the neck, lower back problems. Its symptoms also present in the hands, arms, hips, legs, and feet.
Distal interphalangeal predominant (DIP) arthritis:- This is not an uncommon type it usually occurs in the joints nearest to your fingernails and toenails.5 to 10 percent of people affected with this disease.
Arthritis mutilans :- Arthritis mutilans is severe. It affects the small joints of the hands and feet and changes the shape of your fingers and toes. 5 percent of people affected by arthritis mutilans.

Psoriatic Arthritis Symptoms

PsA can develop slowly and can develop quickly and severely. Some people may develop PsA during a joint after an injury. Development can also be associated with genetics. Scientists estimate that a minimum of 10 percent of the overall population inherits one or more of the genes that make a predisposition to psoriasis.

Joint pain and stiffness

Psoriatic Arthritis Treatment
